INEX is a commercially focused unit of Newcastle University. INEX is a microsystems and specialist electronic device contract manufacturer focusing on custom process development in high value device manufacturing, generally in niche markets.
In 2007 45% of our activity was in the Biomedical industry sector with a key activity the integration of MEMS and life-sciences.
Our staff has expertise in a diverse range of disciplines from commercial and business development to engineering and physiology. This enables INEX to be an effective coordinator and manager of the ReNaChip project, understanding the needs, challenges and requirements of all groups within the project.
